Saku Koistinen is a dancer and choreographer living in the village of Hyönölä, Southern Finland.

He approaches the art of dance from a philosophic viewpoint - the questions of existence, time and death. He studies his world with a warm touch and dry humor.

Lately he has become increasingly interested in turning his lifestyle and the processes of making art more and more ecological. To progress in that goal, Koistinen is studying regenerative farming, food production, working close to his own community and the questions of resilience of the art and the artists.

Currently Koistinen has been  working and dancing mainly in the forest and other outdoor locations.
