Saku Koistinen is a dancer and choreographer living in the village of Hyönölä, Southern Finland.
Currently he is focused working with dancing in the forest. After creation of the Forest Ballet, the practise of the #Forest Dancing is currently being developed further with his partner in life and work, Laura Koistinen.
His ambition is to make uncompromising and passionate work. His productions approach the world from a philosophic viewpoint - the big questions of existence, time and death. Lately he has become more and more interested in ecological questions and challenges. He studies his world with a warm touch and dry humour.
